, but they fade in a week. These handmade paper flowers look just as

You will need

  • Colored crepe or tissue paper
  • Floral wire and green tape
  • Scissors and a glue stick
  • A vase or mason jar

Cut the petals

Cut 5-6 petal shapes from crepe paper, about 8 cm long. Slightly stretch the center of each petal to give it a natural cup.

Build the bloom

Wrap the petals around the top of a floral wire, overlapping slightly. Secure with green floral tape.

Add leaves and arrange

Cut simple leaf shapes, tape them along the stem, and arrange 7-9 flowers in your vase.

Tip: Mix two shades of the same color for petals that look real from across the room.
